Macibini villages water supply: provision of a standpipe water supply to 3 400 people living in 12 villages for the ChrisHaniDistrictMunicipality
Services included proving the groundwater source and equipping boreholes, pumping mains, reinforced concrete reservoirs, gravity reticulation lines and communal standpipes. The quality of life in each village was dramatically improved as walking distances to collect water were reduced to 200m.
