Project management

SSI is equipped to manage the full spectrum of multidisciplinary engineering projects, as well as developmental, community based and management consultant projects. We embark on new projects using a phased-baseline approach, taking into account the complete lifecycle of the project. This means that projects are conducted in a phased, or step-by-step manner, that allows SSI to keep a clear focus on client requirements, cost effective solutions, on-time and within-budget delivery and to fast track at the lowest possible risk. Each client is unique and we integrate this generic phased-baseline approach with the client’s own methodologies and processes.

SSI offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary project management service that embraces:

  • Project management of large multi-disciplinary projects
  • Client specific project management process development and implementation
  • Programme management (managing multiple projects and project managers)
  • Construction and materials management
  • Project management training
  • Emerging contractor development
  • Client specific project management guidelines and manuals
  • Management, administrative and technical support to employer organisations
  • Service delivery process development and implementation
