SSI approaches rail projects by preparing a fully documented report, in close co-operation with the client, as well as with other authorities associated with this kind of project. Identifying the client’s actual needs is a top priority, with assessing the project’s potential impact on existing infrastructure, a close second. Rail projects invariably integrate with other disciplines and SSI is able to initiate specialist investigations and to conduct studies to assess the impact of sociological, environmental, traffic engineering, geotechnical, hydrological and structural factors.
