SSI’s joint venture with Netherlands Airport Consultants BV (NACO) has made SSI the service provider of choice for major airport and aviation assignments in Africa and our activities in this area are nothing short of vibrant, throughout Africa. NACO is an independent firm of airport consultants incorporated into the DHV Group providing civil, mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering, architectural and economic services for airports of all sizes. NACO also provides expertise in logistics, aviation law, airport operations, project management and environmental studies. SSI’s clients include civil aviation authorities, airport authorities and private investors and our services embrace all aspects of civil aviation relating to the regulatory framework, planning, development and implementation of airports.

Private Sector Participation in airports in Kenya:
SSI was commissioned by the World Bank to investigate opportunities for Private Sector Participation in Airports in Kenya. The study required a multidisciplinary management consultancy approach and concluded with recommendations for the restructuring of the Kenyan Airports Authority and a road map for the listing of the KAA on the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
